a) Trust Building for Community Engagement: South Australian Chamber of Mines & Energy (SACOME)

Ruchi delivered a presentation on trust-building in the context of community and stakeholder engagement. This workshop was part of a member-only event for their community engagement support program at SACOME. SACOME is the leading industry body representing over 130 companies involved in resource extraction and supporting service industries in South Australia.

b) How to build, sustain and repair trust at work

Ruchi has delivered multiple half-day training workshops on building, sustaining, and repairing trust at work for multiple organizations (e.g., for the People, Talent, and Culture Department at UniSA and for SA Government Agencies such as the Department for Education. a) Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) for Local Government Professionals

Ruchi teaches the leadership development program for LGP, SA, an independent not-for-profit membership association to develop local government professionals. The ELP program is in its 16th year running. Ruchi has been teaching this program for the past 3 years and has trained over 90 emerging leaders across the local government sector. b) Managing Team Dynamics in Space Exploration Teams

Workshop was part of the Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program (https://www.isunet.edu/shssp/ ). Participants include over 50 members from the international space station and space agencies from China, India, the US, and Europe. The workshop covered how we can manage team dynamics in extreme action teams when members are co-located in a small space over long periods of time. The module also covered team coordination and project planning techniques.

c) HR Leadership Summit (2019)- Adelaide Convention Centre

Ruchi presented her work on how leaders can manage the employee asks for flexible work arrangements in a speech at theHR Leadership Summit in 2018. This summit is organized by Business Insights Asia Pacific (BIAP) and is an exclusive thought leadership event for senior HR and L&D leaders across the private and public sectors. Research Network for Undersea Decision Superiority – Defence Science and Technology Group (Australian Department of Defense)

Working on two large research projects funded by RNUDS ($750,000) to examine individual and team performance in the under-sea context. The Research Network for Undersea Decision Superiority (RN-UDS) is established by Defense Science and Technology Group (DST) on behalf of the Defense and the Future Submarine Program to ensure Australia has the research capability and capacity to deliver undersea decision superiority into the future.
